Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of its Redmi Note 13 series smartphones in China, scheduled for September 21. The company has been gradually revealing specifications for the upcoming phones through teasers on Weibo. Recent teasers confirmed that the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, marking the debut of these chipsets in smartphones. GeekBench listings for both chipsets have provided insights into their capabilities. These devices were previously spotted in China’s 3C and TENAA certifications, revealing various specifications.

A user on social media (formerly Twitter) has now spotted two new Redmi smartphones listed in India’s BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification. The model numbers for these upcoming devices are 2312DRAABI and 2312FRAFDI. This BIS listing suggests that the launch of these smartphones in India is imminent. It’s widely believed that these model numbers correspond to the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones.

The Chinese variant of the 2312DRAABI smartphone, with the model number 2312DRAABC, was previously listed in the IMEI database. The user speculates that these upcoming smartphones will likely be the standard Note 13 5G and Note 13 4G models. Unfortunately, the BIS listing does not provide detailed specifications for these devices.

Xiaomi is expected to launch these smartphones during the festive season in India, positioning them to compete with offerings from other brands such as Realme and iQOO. It’s worth noting that Digital Chat Station previously suggested that the vanilla Note 13 smartphone would feature 67W fast charging technology. However, there is limited information available about the specifications of the standard models.

Redmi Note 13 Pro / Note 13 Pro+ Expected Specifications:

– The latest teasers shared by Xiaomi on Weibo indicate that the upcoming Note 13 Pro+ will come with IP68 water and dust resistance, a first for the Redmi Note series. It will also feature wet hand technology, allowing the display to function smoothly in wet conditions. Xiaomi confirmed that the phones will be equipped with 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensors, a 1.5K resolution AMOLED display, and Corning Gorilla Victus protection.
