Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 14, an Android-based operating system that is the stable beta version for the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T smartphones. Notably, Google has not yet introduced Android 14’s stable release. The dominant search engine company delayed the release of Android 14 on September 6 for an unspecified reason.
The Pixel 8 series of smartphones will be unveiled by Google on October 4 in both the international and Indian markets. According to the most recent information, the California-based tech giant will introduce Android 14 alongside its Pixel 8 series of devices. As was already announced, Xiaomi is allowing beta testers of its flagship devices access to the stable beta version.

Typically, the stable beta update is the last stage of development before becoming a stable version for ordinary consumers. Google has already started rolling out the September 2023 update, which mainly consists of the September 2023 security patch, to Pixel smartphones. Prior to Google’s official release, Xiaomi seems to be in a rush to update its smartphones to Android 14.
The MIUI 14 based on Android 14 stable beta update is now available for the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones, with firmware versions V14.2.0UMCMIXM and V14.0.2.0UMBMIXM, respectively. The firmware version of the upgrade for the Xiaomi 12T smartphone from earlier iterations is V14.0.4.0UMQMIXM.
The file size of the MIUI 14, which is based on the Android 14 stable beta version, is around 5.4GB, indicating that this is the last update for Android 14 testers worldwide. Xiaomi previously provided beta testers of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones in China with the stable beta version of Android 14.
The updater software allows beta users of the global Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and 12T handsets to upgrade to the most recent stable beta update. Beta users also have the option of manually downloading and installing the update.
