Xiaomi is reportedly developing a flip-style foldable phone named MIX Flip. Recent leaks, including its appearance on the IMEI database, suggest it could debut in the first half of 2024. The Xiaomi MIX Flip’s camera and display details were revealed through the HyperOS source code. The primary camera is the Light Hunter 800 (ovx8000), featuring a 50MP OmniVision OV50E sensor. It’s backed by the Omnivision OV60A sensor with 2x optical zoom. Surprisingly, this sensor is usually a front camera but is used as a secondary one on the MIX Flip’s rear. The front camera is a 32MP OV32B sensor. The cover screen boasts a pixel density of 520 PPI, indicating a resolution lower than the Redmi K70 Pro’s 2K display, possibly around 1.5K resolution.
