Google Pixel Watch 2: Exciting Features Revealed Ahead of Launch – What to Expect!

Google Pixel Watch 2

The highly anticipated Google Pixel Watch 2 will debut alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones when they go on sale on October 4. On October 5, pre-orders for the smartphones will start. According to a leaked document, people who pre-order the Pixel 8 Pro in the US will also receive a free Pixel Watch 2.

High-resolution renderings of the future smartphones were recently released by MySmartPrice, providing details on their style and color options. Separate reports from 91Mobiles provided information on the next handsets’ full specifications, US pricing, and camera functionality. Prior to its release, 91Mobiles also offered a thorough look of the Pixel Watch 2.

Features to Expect from the Google Pixel Watch 2

91Mobiles released a research in collaboration with renowned tipster Kamila Wojciechowska that highlights the superior capabilities of the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 over its predecessor. In collaboration with Fitbit, Google is getting ready to unveil a brand-new heart rate sensor. Through Fitbit’s stress management technology, this multi-path heart rate sensor will not only give more precise heart rate tracking and stress level assessment but also measure skin temperature. The Pixel Watch 2 will be able to determine a user’s degree of stress by examining body signals.

Users will be able to record their present mental condition, and the smartwatch will provide recommendations for reducing stress. Additionally, to improve stress detection, the Pixel Watch 2 will use continuous electrodermal activity, such as minuscule sweat beads and heart rate changes.

Through the detection of various sports modes and the provision of alerts for tracking exercises, the pace training function in the Pixel Watch 2 will help users maintain the intensity of their workouts. In particular, the addition of Safety Check signals a focus on user safety. With this function, users can set timers for particular scenarios, and the smartwatch will send notifications when the timer is up. The device will automatically disclose the user’s position with emergency contacts in real-time in the event of non-response.

Real-time location sharing is another feature of the Pixel Watch 2, with the possibility to include emergency medical reporting. In the UK, Google has set a price for the device of 349 GBP (about Rs 35,500), and it is said to include six months of Fitbit Premium with the smartwatch. This information comes from a post by Roland Quandt.

The smartwatch is anticipated to come in the color combinations Polished Silver/Bay, Matte Black/Obsidian, Champagne Gold/Hazel, and Polished Silver/Porcelain and include a circular display without a bezel and a rotating crown. The Pixel Watch 2 has a 24-hour battery life, according to Google, and charges quickly (from 0% to 100%) in just 75 minutes.
