Lava Teases Launch of Lava Blaze Pro 5G Smartphone for the Festive Season

Lava, an Indian smartphone manufacturer, has begun teasing the impending release of the Lava Blaze Pro 5G smartphone in India.

Recent reports have hinted at the resurgence of Indian smartphone makers such as Lava and Micromax. Lava, in particular, has been making waves in the Indian smartphone market by introducing various smartphone models. Sunil Raina, President of Lava Mobiles, has initiated teasers for the upcoming Lava Blaze Pro 5G smartphone.

This smartphone will serve as the successor to the Blaze Pro, which was unveiled in September 2022 and featured the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. Following that, Lava introduced the standard Lava Blaze 5G smartphone in November 2022. Recently, the company also unveiled an 8GB RAM variant for the Blaze 5G smartphone. The Lava Blaze Pro 5G has been quietly listed on Lava’s official website in India.

Lava Blaze Pro 5G: Anticipated Pricing and Specifications

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Sunil Raina highlighted how the Lava Blaze 5G, with its affordable pricing, made 5G technology accessible to a broad audience. Raina also hinted at the imminent launch of a successor to the Blaze 5G smartphone in India. The company has plans to introduce the upcoming Lava Blaze Pro 5G smartphone during the festive season.

Raina’s comments suggest that Lava might unveil multiple smartphones during the upcoming festive season. He also assured that the smartphone would be reasonably priced, making it accessible to a wide range of customers. However, Raina did not divulge any specific specifications or the exact launch date of the upcoming device.

Well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed that the Lava Blaze Pro 5G is expected to debut by the end of September 2023. According to the tipster, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, fabricated using a 7nm process. This chipset boasts two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Abhishek also disclosed that Lava intends to price the smartphone at less than Rs 15,000. Furthermore, he confirmed the introduction of a new color option for the device. The tipster’s shared image suggests that the Lava Blaze Pro 5G will feature a dual rear camera arrangement housed within a camera module, accompanied by an LED flash.

The image also verifies the presence of a 50MP primary sensor, likely accompanied by a secondary 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, the image indicates that the SIM card tray will be positioned on the left side of the smartphone, while the power button and volume rockers are expected to be located on the right side.

To recap, the standard Lava Blaze 5G smartphone boasts a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, produced using a 7nm process. The smartphone features a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It is powered by a generous 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
