Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series, with the smartphones set to debut in China on September 21. This series includes three devices: the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. These smartphones are expected to come equipped with the newly unveiled Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC and feature a remarkable 200MP primary camera, as confirmed by Xiaomi.
Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, provided insights into these devices. According to the tipster, the left-hand phone in the shared images is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, which will feature a leather back panel. In contrast, the smartphone on the right is the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which will boast a glass back panel. A previous leak from the same source suggested that the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro will sport a 5,120mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will come with a 5,000mAh battery, providing impressive 120W fast charging capabilities. All three smartphones in the Redmi Note 13 series have already received 3C certification in China.
One of the key highlights of this series is the Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. This chipset, built on a 4nm process, incorporates two Cortex A715 cores and six Cortex A510 cores, complemented by the ARM Mali-G610 GPU. It supports camera setups of up to 200MP and offers 4K video recording at 30fps.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ are expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, as previously revealed by TENAA certification. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is set to offer up to 18GB of RAM, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro will come with 16GB of RAM. These smartphones will be available in various storage configurations, including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. Both devices will sport a triple-camera setup comprising a 200MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Running on Android 13 out of the box, these smartphones will also support 5G connectivity. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP front camera is expected.
