The teaser image posted by Amazon on its Indian website acts as formal notification of the upcoming release of the tablet. Following its appearance on numerous certification websites in recent months, the Galaxy Tab A9 has been making headlines. According to reports, Samsung will sell the tablet in WiFi-only, cellular, and even a 5G form.
Amazon has formally announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9’s debut date in India. A new Galaxy Tab is “Coming Soon,” according to a teaser posted by the well-known e-commerce platform. The tablet will be unveiled on October 5.
Even if the teaser pictures on Amazon’s website don’t specifically identify the tablet, a closer inspection reveals that they belong to the Galaxy Tab A9. A hazy promotional image of the tablet shown in the teaser also lines up with other leaks, showing a style similar to the Galaxy Tab A8 with a single rear camera and consistent bezels.
Last month, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 made an appearance on the Google Play Console, revealing important details. The tablet will reportedly have a 720p display and come with the MT8781 MediaTek CPU, which may be a tweaked version of the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
The Galaxy Tab A9 is anticipated to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, in addition to a dedicated microSD card slot for expansion, and run OneUI 5 based on Android 13.
The affordable and mid-range categories are often the focus of Samsung’s A-series tablets’ pricing. Given the leaked information, it’s reasonable to assume that the Samsung Galaxy A9 will cost around Rs 25,000. The Mi Pad 6, which costs Rs 27,000, and the upcoming OnePlus Pad Go, which is projected to cost less than Rs 30,000, will be its main challengers. The Galaxy Tab A9 is anticipated to be released only on Amazon.com.
The Mediatek MT8781 processor and Mali G57 GPU are expected to power the 720p LCD panel and 800×1340 resolution of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9. The tablet, which runs OneUI 5 based on Android 13, is anticipated to include 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It will have a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera for photography.
