Samsung usually introduces its regular Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones annually. However, this year, there might be some fresh additions to their foldable series. Recent reports suggest the likelihood of the Fold 6 SE and possibly a Z Fold 6 Ultra. Nevertheless, a recent tip hints at the presence of the Galaxy Z Fold SE and also reveals details about the chipsets and storage capacities of the FE models.

In a post that has been deleted since then, tipster Kro via X (formerly on Twitter) shared some screenshots suggesting that Samsung could be working on more budget-friendly versions of its foldable phones under the Fan Edition (FE) label.
The leaked screenshot shows that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE might have dimensions of 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2 mm when it’s folded, while the Z Flip FE could measure 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when it’s unfolded.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip FE might use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold FE could have different chips depending on the market. It might feature either the Exynos 2300 or the Exynos 2200, along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE might come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, while the Galaxy Z Flip FE might have only one option with 8GB of RAM. As for storage, both phones could offer choices between 256GB and 512GB.

Samsung is planning to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event in mid-July to reveal its regular foldable phones. Besides, they might introduce other products like Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy XR headset, and the Galaxy Ring. However, it’s not confirmed yet, but they might announce the FE foldable models later this year.
